Plastic military model kit: Sd.Kfz.223 1:72 ICM 72421

Sd.Kfz.223 was a light, two-axle German armored car with four-wheel drive, serving as a radio communication vehicle in the reconnaissance units of the Wehrmacht. The vehicle was designed by the Eisenwerken Weserhütte factories on the Horch 801/EG chassis. A total of 550 units of this model were produced between 1935 and 1944.

These vehicles mainly formed part of armored divisions, participating in the Polish, French campaigns, and Operation Barbarossa. Although their tactical mobility proved limited in the harsh conditions of the Russian backcountry, these vehicles performed exceptionally well in the operations of the German Africa Corps (DAK).
