Soviet Air Force Paint Set from the End of World War II (6x17ml) Hataka AS20

The Hataka AS20 "LATE WW2 SOVIET AIR FORCE PAINT SET" is an excellent choice for modelers who wish to replicate the historical paint schemes of Soviet aircraft from the late period of World War II. This set includes six paints, each with a capacity of 17 ml, which reflect the standard colors used by the Soviet Air Force from mid-1943 until the end of the war.

Contents of the set:

Dark Gray (HTK-A070/AMT-12): Used for painting the upper and side surfaces of fighter aircraft in combination with Blue Gray.
Camouflage Green (HTK-A073/AMT-4): Used in camouflage schemes for various types of aircraft.
Blue Gray (HTK-A071/AMT-11): Used for painting the lower surfaces of aircraft and in schemes for fighters.
Light Brown Gray A-21m (HTK-A074): Part of the camouflage scheme for aircraft other than fighters.
Gray Blue (HTK-A072/AMT-7): The color of the lower surfaces of late-war aircraft.
Night Black (HTK-A041): Used for painting the lower surfaces of night bombers.

Painting schemes:

In July 1943, new painting schemes were introduced for Soviet military aircraft. Fighters were painted in the Dark Gray/Blue Gray scheme, while other types of aircraft used the Camouflage Green/Light Brown Gray/Dark Gray scheme. For the Il-4 and Pe-8 aircraft, Dark Gray was replaced with Black. The lower surfaces of late-war aircraft were painted in Blue Gray, except for night bombers, which used Black paint.
