Plastic military model kit: Sherman VC Firefly (Polish markings) 1:35 Asuka 35-009SA

A plastic model kit depicting the British medium tank Sherman VC Firefly in 1:35 scale. This is a special edition prepared for Polish modelers, containing decals allowing for the creation of the vehicle in the colors of the Polish Armed Forces in the West.

The Sherman Firefly was a British modification of the American M4 Sherman tank, involving the installation of the powerful 17-pounder anti-tank gun. This change allowed the Allies to effectively combat heavy German tanks, such as the Panther or Tiger, at ranges previously unattainable for standard Shermans. The Vc version was based on the M4A4 hull and was the most widely produced Firefly variant.

The set includes:

High-quality plastic parts for building the tank miniature.
Photo-etched parts for rendering fine details.

Special decal sheet with Polish markings, including for units of the 1st Armoured Division commanded by Gen. Stanisław Maczek.

The model features high manufacturing precision, for which the manufacturer Asuka (formerly Tasca) is known, offering, among others, a movable suspension and a faithfully reproduced turret with the characteristic niche for the radio set and the 17-pdr gun mantlet.

Kit for self-assembly and painting. Does not include paints or glue. To assemble, you will need separately sold modeling tools (including nippers, files, tweezers), paints, brushes, and plastic model glue (e.g., Tamiya Extra Thin Cement). The photo shows a professionally assembled and painted model.
