Plastic model helicopter kit: Sikorsky S-64E Skycrane with universal pod 1:35 ICM 53059

Plastic model kit of the American heavy transport helicopter Sikorsky S-64E Skycrane, complete with a universal transport pod. This machine, known for its distinctive silhouette of a "flying crane," is used for assembly, installation, and transportation of oversized loads.

The universal pods were originally developed for the military versions of the CH-54 to enhance their transport capabilities. Equipped with windows, doors, and a rear ramp, they allowed for the transport of personnel, military equipment, and even the airdrop of paratroopers. In the civilian version S-64E, former military containers are repainted in a distinctive bright orange color and are used, among others, by rescue services.
