Plastic model kit: Sopwith Camel 1:48 Smer 0809 Plastic model kit depicting the Sopwith Camel – a legendary British fighter aircraft from the period of World War I. This biplane with a wooden structure earned its nickname (English: camel) due to the characteristic hump in front of the pilot's cockpit, where two Vickers machine guns were hidden. Sopwith Camel was the successor to the Sopwith Pup. Although its piloting required great skill from the airmen due to the asymmetry of flight characteristics, the machine became a symbol of maneuverability and solidity. It was one of the most effective Allied fighters, being an equal opponent for the German Albatroses and Fokkers. Kit characteristics:
