History and significance of ZiL-130: The ZiL-130 is one of the most recognizable and mass-produced trucks in the history of Soviet automotive engineering. Its production began in 1962, with mass production starting in 1964 at the ZIL factories in Moscow. By 1994, over 3.3 million units had been produced, making it one of the most numerous trucks in the USSR and Russia.

The ZiL-130 was equipped with an 8-cylinder V8 engine with a power of 150 HP, making it a powerful tool both in the national economy and in the army. It also featured power steering and a fully metal, three-person cabin. During its production, it underwent several upgrades that increased its durability and payload capacity to 6 tons.
