Description
Plastic model airplane to assemble: Spitfire Mk.IXc "Beer Delivery" 1:48 ICM 48060
The Supermarine Spitfire is one of the most iconic British fighters of World War II. Designed by R.J. Mitchell, this aircraft became a symbol of British resistance and victory. The Mk.IX version was developed as a direct response to the emergence of the German Focke-Wulf Fw-190. Equipped with a more powerful Rolls-Royce Merlin 66 engine, it went into production from 1943 to 1945, becoming the backbone of British fighter aviation during Operation Overlord in 1944.
