The Su-30SM (NATO reporting name: Flanker-H) is a Russian twin-engine, two-seat, all-weather, long-range multirole fighter aircraft of the 4++ generation, representing one of the most advanced machines in its class. The aircraft was developed by the Sukhoi Design Bureau as a deep modernization of the Su-30 family, combining the features of an interceptor, strike aircraft, and command aircraft. Thanks to the use of AL-31FP engines with thrust vectoring and advanced aerodynamics with canards, the machine exhibits phenomenal maneuverability, allowing it to perform aerobatic figures impossible for most modern fighters.
