Description
Supermarine Spitfire Mk IXc 1:24 1 Man Army 24DET016
A high-quality set of spray masks (High Definition Airbrush Masks) designed for the Supermarine Spitfire Mk IXc model in 1:24 scale, dedicated to the Airfix kit (cat. no. 17001). The product from the Belgian company 1 Man Army provides an innovative alternative to traditional decals, allowing for a realistic effect of painted markings without visible edges of the carrier film.
The Supermarine Spitfire Mk IX was one of the most important versions of the legendary British fighter from World War II. The Mk IXc version was introduced in response to the emergence of the German Focke-Wulf Fw 190A and was characterized by excellent performance at high altitudes thanks to the Rolls-Royce Merlin engine of the 60 series and the versatile C-type wing.
Contents of the set:- Masks for basic markings for three historical aircraft:
- Over 30 different instructional masks (stencils) and 15+ spare technical masks
- Walkline templates along with spares
- Detailed instruction for element placement
- User manual with technical tips
The use of masks allows for the free application of wear marks, such as chips or paint fading, directly onto the painted markings, significantly enhancing the realism of the finished miniature.
