Description
Plastic model aircraft for assembly: Supermarine Spitfire Mk.VIII 1:24 Airfix 17002
The Supermarine Spitfire is undoubtedly the most famous British fighter from World War II, an icon of aviation and a symbol of victory in the Battle of Britain. The all-metal low-wing machine was distinguished by its characteristic elliptical wings, which provided it with excellent handling characteristics. The Mk.VIII version was a development of the Spitfire design, intended as an improved performance variant, equipped with a retractable tail wheel and modified tail surfaces and wings.
The 1:24 scale model from Airfix is an impressive replica of this legendary aircraft, allowing for the reproduction of the finest technical details.
