Plastic model car kit: taka-Q Toyota 88C 1:24 Hasegawa 20576

A plastic model kit depicting the taka-Q Toyota 88C racing car, which participated in the World Sports Prototype Championship (WSPC) series in the 1989 season. Although Toyota introduced the new 89C-V model that year, it was decided to field the proven and refined 88C design during the second round of the championship in Dijon.

The Toyota 88C was an evolution of earlier Group C models, powered by a 2.1-liter turbocharged inline engine. The characteristic yellow and black livery sponsored by the taka-Q brand became one of the most recognizable color schemes of that era in endurance racing.

The Hasegawa kit is a limited edition that offers high-quality reproduction of body details and the cockpit interior. The plastic body parts are molded in yellow, which facilitates painting in the taka-Q team colors.
