History and background of the model: The Dornier Do 17, also known as the "Flying Pencil," was one of the most distinctive German bombers of World War II. Its design originated in the early 1930s when the concept of a fast bomber emerged, capable of evading contemporary fighters due to its speed. This aircraft was designed by the German company Dornier Flugzeugwerke.

In 1939, production of the Do 17Z version began, characterized by a new "Waffenkopf" nose and air-cooled Bramo 323 Fafnir engines. In 1940, 9 units of the Do 17Z-10 Kauz II version were produced, which were adapted for use as night fighters.
