Plastic model car kit: Toyota Starlet EP71 Turbo-S (3 Door) "Custom Version" 1:24 Hasegawa 20777
A plastic model depicting the Japanese city car Toyota Starlet EP71 in the sporty Turbo-S version (3-door), released by Hasegawa as a limited edition "Custom Version". The third generation Toyota Starlet (P70 series), produced between 1984–1989, was a breakthrough model for the brand due to the switch to front-wheel drive. The Turbo-S version, known in Japan by the nickname "Idaten", featured a turbocharged 2E-TELU engine, which offered excellent performance in a lightweight body, making this car a cult 80s hot-hatch.
This kit allows you to build a modified version of the model, enhanced with additional tuning elements. The box contains parts allowing for a faithful reproduction of the details of the vehicle's body and interior.
Main features of the kit:- Elements made using 3D printing technology: front spoiler (bumper extension) giving the car an aggressive look.
- New plastic parts: a set of 10-spoke rims dedicated to this version.
- The set includes masks for painting the windows, which significantly facilitates the precise finishing of the model.
- Detailed interior and the characteristic air intake on the engine hood.
- Manufacturer: Toyota
- Model: Starlet EP71 Turbo-S
- Production years: 1984-1989
- Body type: 3-door hatchback
- Engine: 1.3L Turbo
Kit for self-assembly and painting. Does not include paints or glue. Assembly requires separately sold modeling tools (including nippers, files, tweezers), paints, brushes and plastic model glue (e.g., Tamiya Extra Thin Cement). The photo shows a professionally assembled and painted model.
