The third-generation Toyota Supra (A70), produced between 1986-1993, was a breakthrough model that finally separated the Supra line from the Celica. The 2.5GT Twin Turbo R version, introduced in 1990, was the top specification for the Japanese market. It was equipped with a 2.5-liter inline-six 1JZ-GTE engine with twin turbochargers, generating 280 HP. The "R" version stood out with its Bilstein sports suspension, MOMO steering wheel and shift knob, and Recaro seats, making it the most desirable variant of this model before the introduction of the A80 generation.
