Plastic model aircraft kit: Tupolev Tu-134UBL 1:144 Zvezda 7036
A plastic model kit representing the Soviet and Russian training aircraft Tupolev Tu-134UBL in 1:144 scale. It is a specialized version of the popular Tu-134 passenger aircraft, developed at the Tupolev design bureau in the early 1980s.
History and purpose of the original:
The Tu-134UBL was designed for training pilots of strategic bombers and missile carriers, such as the supersonic Tu-22M3 and Tu-160 aircraft. A characteristic feature of this version is the elongated nose section with a radar cover, which makes it resemble the nose of the Tu-22M3 bomber. The aircraft is powered by D-30 series 2 engines and allows for the simultaneous training of up to 12 students in a passenger cabin arranged in three rows.
Model specification:
- Scale: 1:144
- Number of parts: 63
- Model length: 28.5 cm
Kit for self-assembly and painting. Does not include paints or glue. To assemble, you will need separately sold modeling tools (e.g., nippers, files, tweezers), paints, brushes, and plastic model glue (e.g., Tamiya Extra Thin Cement). The photo shows a professionally assembled and painted model.
