Two-part barrel 88mm L/56 for Flak 36/37 1:72 ABER 72L62
Precisely turned from metal, this two-part barrel with a caliber of 88 mm and length L/56 is designed for enhancing models of German anti-aircraft and anti-tank guns of the FlaK 36 and FlaK 37 types in 1:72 scale.
The use of a metal replacement allows for a significantly higher level of realism compared to plastic parts, eliminating the need to remove seams from the joining of barrel halves and ensuring a perfectly round cross-section and accurate representation of the barrel bore.
Historical background:- The 8.8 cm FlaK gun was one of the most famous artillery designs of World War II.
- Although originally designed as an anti-aircraft gun (Flugabwehrkanone), it proved to be an extremely effective anti-tank weapon, capable of destroying Allied and Soviet tanks from long distances.
- The FlaK 36 and 37 versions featured, among other things, improved beds and data transmission systems for targeting.
