History and use of the UH-1N Twin Huey:

The Bell UH-1N Twin Huey is a medium military helicopter designed and produced by the American company Bell Helicopter. It is part of the wide Huey family, and its first version, the CUH-1N Twin Huey (later CH-135 Twin Huey), was ordered by the Canadian Armed Forces in 1968. The first flight of the UH-1N took place in April 1969, and by October 1970, the helicopter was deployed to combat units of the United States Air Force in Vietnam.

The UH-1N Twin Huey was widely used in various armed conflicts, starting from the Vietnam War, where it supported reconnaissance missions of special forces. In the United States, the helicopter served as the main utility helicopter at various ICBM launch sites, as well as a transport for the President of the USA and other high-ranking officials as part of Marine Helicopter Squadron One.

The helicopter participated in the invasion of Iraq in 2003, providing reconnaissance, communication, and close air support for ground forces. The UH-1N also took part in the armed conflict in Colombia and the Falklands War.
