Description
US Army Paint Set (MERDC Camouflage) 8x17ml Hataka HTK-BS51
Acrylic paint set from the Blue Line series, optimized for brush application, containing standard colors of US Army vehicles used from the mid-1970s to the mid-1980s.
The early 1970s saw the development by the Mobility Equipment Research & Design Command (MERDC) of a new camouflage system for US Army vehicles. It was a set of patterns that could be adapted to different geographical and seasonal conditions by changing one or two colors. The new camouflage was tested and approved in 1975 and was widely used until 1984, when the so-called NATO scheme was introduced.
The set allows for the recreation of all variants of MERDC camouflage, including:
- Summer Verdant
- Winter Verdant
- Tropical Verdant
- Snow with Trees
- Snow with Open Terrain
- Grey Desert
- Red Desert
Contents of the set (8 bottles of 17ml):
