US Marine Corps Helicopters Paint Set 8x17ml Hataka BS14

A set of Blue Line acrylic paints, optimized for brush application, containing standard colors used by US Marine Corps (USMC) helicopters from the 1950s to the present day.

The painting history of USMC helicopters evolved with changes in theaters of war:

From the end of World War II to the mid-1950s, colors identical to those used by the US Navy were used (Sea Blue, later Light Gull Grey).
After 1956, the so-called land-scheme was introduced, in which the dominant color was Field Green.
In 1986, a three-color grey-green-black camouflage appeared.
After 1991, the two-color Tactical Paint Scheme (TPS) became the standard.

Set contents:

HTK-B001 Dark Sea Blue (ANA 623) - standard deck color until the mid-1950s.
HTK-B048 Light Gull Grey (ANA 620) - transitional color used on, among others, HRS-3 and CH-53D.
HTK-B059 Field Green (ANA 627) - basic color of USMC helicopters from 1956 to the mid-1980s.
HTK-B046 Medium Grey (FS35237) - used in three-color schemes and the modern TPS.
