Description
U.S. Navy Ships and Submarines from 1950 to Present Paint Set 6x22ml Lifecolor CS52
A set of six acrylic paints dedicated to painting modern surface ships and submarines of the United States Navy (US Navy) from 1950 to the present. The colors have been developed based on historical research by Maurizio Boverio (IPMS Italy), ensuring high accuracy with the originals.
- UA 655 US Modern Haze Gray - used on superstructures and upper parts of the hull.
- UA 656 US Modern Dark Gray - intended for painting decks and traffic surfaces.
- UA 657 Light Teak Wood - color dedicated to reproducing wooden elements of the bridge.
- UA 658 US Modern Hull Red - anti-fouling paint for the underwater part of the hull.
- UA 659 Submarine Dark Gray - color for the upper surfaces of submarine hulls.
- UA 660 Submarine Black - color for the lower surfaces of submarine hulls.
Lifecolor paints are characterized by high pigment quality and a satin finish. It is recommended to dilute with the dedicated Lifecolor Thinner or water to a milk-like consistency. When airbrushing, it is advisable to use low pressure to prevent paint from drying on the needle. The best results are achieved by applying several thin layers instead of one thick one.
