The formula has been developed specifically for airbrush painting, ensuring exceptional adhesion to plastics and metal. The product allows for a very realistic surface finish that faithfully imitates the appearance of steel components in various types of vehicles, aircraft, or machinery.

The paint is characterized by self-leveling properties, which create a smooth, uniform layer after application. The very finely ground pigment ensures that the paint coating does not flood even the smallest details of the model, such as panel lines, rivets, or subtle surface textures. Once dry, the coating becomes extremely resistant to mechanical damage. Steel is one of the most universal colors in modeling - it is ideal for recreating elements of engines, chassis, armament, tracks, barrels, or engineering tools mounted on military vehicle armor.

The product can be applied directly from the bottle to the airbrush cup, without the need for additional thinning. If necessary, however, dedicated preparations such as Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver can be used. The recommended working pressure of the compressor when working with this paint is approximately 15-20 PSI (0.5 - 1 kg). Although the preparation dries almost instantly, to achieve full hardness and resistance to masking with modeling tapes, it is recommended to wait 12 hours after application.

To achieve the best visual results and maximize the shine and depth of the color, the manufacturer recommends applying the product over a glossy black primer (Gloss Black Primer). The bottle should be shaken thoroughly before each use, as the separation of pigment from the medium is a natural process. For proper maintenance and cleaning of equipment after finishing work, the use of dedicated Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner is recommended.

The preparation is safe to use - it is not flammable and does not contain aggressive solvents. The bottle is equipped with a convenient dropper that allows for very precise drop-by-drop dosing. Additionally, this solution effectively prevents the evaporation of the medium and drying inside the packaging, significantly extending its usability.
