Historical background:

The Vickers Medium Mark I was a British tank produced by Vickers during the interwar period. It was designed as a successor to the heavy Mark V tanks and, along with the slightly improved Vickers Medium Mark II model, served in the Royal Tank Regiments. It was the first type of tank to enter mass production after World War I.
