WW2 Dutch AF Paint Set Vol. 1 6x17ml Hataka HTK-BS107
Acrylic paint set from the Blue Line series, optimized for brush painting, containing the standard colors of the Dutch Air Force (LVA) from 1919-1940.
The Dutch Air Force was officially established in 1913 under the name Luchtvaartafdeling (LVA). In the early period, most aircraft wore a simple paint scheme consisting of green (LVA Khaki) on the upper surfaces and blue (LVA Blue) on the lower ones. Training aircraft were painted entirely in blue. At the beginning of World War II, the LVA operated about 120 combat aircraft, most of which had a unique camouflage made up of colors: green (Camo Green), beige (Camo Beige), and brown (Camo Brown) on the upper surfaces and brown on the lower ones.
The set includes 6 bottles of 17ml:- HTK-B193 LVA Khaki - used on upper surfaces in the early period and on selected training and reconnaissance aircraft.
- HTK-B332 LVA Blue - used on lower surfaces in the early period and as the overall color for training aircraft.
- HTK-B246 Camo Green - camouflage color for upper surfaces (including Fokker D.XXI, G.I, T.V).
- HTK-B074 Camo Beige - camouflage color for upper surfaces (including Fokker D.XXI, G.I, T.V).
- HTK-B087 Camo Brown - camouflage color for upper and lower surfaces (including Fokker D.XXI, G.I, T.V).
- HTK-B201 Voodoo Grey - equivalent of the standard color for cockpits and interiors of LVA aircraft fuselages.
