WW2 Imperial Japanese Army AFV paint set 8x17ml Hataka HTK-BS69

Acrylic paint set from the Blue Line series, optimized for brush painting, containing the standard colors of the Imperial Japanese Army vehicles from 1937-1945. The set allows for the recreation of both early and late camouflage patterns used on Japanese armored vehicles.

The Japanese camouflage doctrine for ground forces evolved during World War II. By 1942, multi-colored, contrasting painting with characteristic yellow stripes was used to break up the vehicle's silhouette in dense jungle vegetation. From 1943, the scheme was simplified, transitioning to darker shades of brown and green, better suited to the conditions on the Pacific islands.
