Description
WW2 Italian AFV Paint Set 6x17ml Hataka HTK-BS106
Acrylic paint set from the Blue Line series, optimized for brush painting, containing the standard colors of Italian military vehicles from World War II.
History and Use:The Kingdom of Italy entered the conflict with two main painting schemes for armored units: the general gray-green (Grigio-Verde) and red-brown (Rosso Ruggine), mainly used on vehicles from the Ansaldo factories. During the African campaign, vehicles were repainted in the field to Saharian Khaki, which became the factory standard from March 1941. In 1943, more complex camouflage patterns were introduced, including the famous "amoeba" pattern consisting of red-brown and dark yellow spots on a gray-green base.
Contents of the Set:- HTK-B226 Grigio-Verde Scuro - the base color of the Italian army in the 1930s and after 1943.
- HTK-B170 Grigio-Verde Chiaro - standard base and camouflage color of the Regio Esercito.
- HTK-B525 Rosso Ruggine - the base color of Ansaldo vehicles, later used as camouflage spots.
- HTK-B013 Giallo Sabbia Scuro - the base color of some Ansaldo vehicles, used in the "amoeba" pattern.
- HTK-B056 Verde Scuro - standard camouflage color of Ansaldo and an element of the "amoeba" pattern.
- HTK-B126 Saharian Khaki - the base color of vehicles in Africa and the standard factory color from May 1943.
