Description
Plastic military model kit: WWI Heavy Tank Mk.IV Male/Female 2 in 1 1:35 Takom 2076
Plastic model kit depicting a British heavy tank from the First World War - Mk.IV in a unique 2-in-1 edition. The kit allows for the construction of the model in one of two main configurations: "Male", equipped with cannons, or "Female", armed exclusively with machine guns.
The Mark IV tank was the most important British armored vehicle of the Great War, representing a development of the earlier Mark I-III designs. Introduced into service in 1917, it took part in key clashes, including the famous Battle of Cambrai, which proved the potential of the mass use of armored weapons. The "Male" version featured two 6-pounder cannons placed in side sponsons, while the "Female" version was designed to combat infantry using Lewis (later Hotchkiss) machine guns.
Kit features:
- Option to build either the Male or Female version (2 in 1).
- Movable track links assembled without glue (snap-fit).
- Fully reproduced running gear and drive system.
- All wheels remain movable after assembly.
- Includes photo-etched (PE) parts to increase the level of detail.
- Decals for 5 different painting variants, including captured German examples (Beutepanzer).
Available marking variants:
- Mk.IV Female - Abt. 12, tank 107 "Annchen", German Army, 1918.
- Mk.IV Female - F Co, tank "Flirt II", British Army, Cambrai 1917.
- Mk.IV Female - tank "Mariechen", Freikorps, Leipzig 1919.
- Mk.IV Male - Abt. 14, tank 207 "Heinz", German Army, 1918.
