Description
Plastic military model for assembly: WWI Male Tank Mk.I 1:76 Airfix 01315V
The British Mark I tank in the "Male" variant is a design that forever changed the face of modern warfare. It debuted on the battlefield on September 15, 1916, during the Battle of Flers-Courcelette, as a response to the stalemate of trench warfare on the Western Front. The "male" version was characterized by powerful armament, which included two 6-pounder naval guns and four Hotchkiss machine guns, allowing for the effective destruction of enemy fortifications and machine gun nests.
The Airfix 01315V model comes from the Vintage Classics series, which means it uses classic molds from 1967. The set is accompanied by the original, nostalgic box illustration by Roy Cross. It is an excellent proposition for modelers who value the history of modeling and enthusiasts of military technology from the Great War period.
