Laura Kinney (a.k.a. X-23) is the twenty-third attempt to create a genetic copy of Wolverine. She was born with the destiny of being a weapon and had virtually no contact with humans, enhancing her primal wild and deadly instincts. She is a great warrior, an assassin who possesses all of Wolverine's abilities, including the power to heal from any injury, lightning-fast reflexes, and retractable adamantium claws.

Gabriell Kinney (Honey Badger) was created from the genetic components of X-23 to be a protector and warrior, with abilities identical to those of Wolverine and Laura. Additionally, she was enhanced - pain-resistant - through Alchemax's nanite therapy (which was a very painful process). She was imprisoned by her creators, but managed to escape with the help of her rebellious sisters and adopted the identity of Honey Badger.
