Plastic motorcycle model for assembly: Yamaha TZR250 (3MA) (1989) 1:12 Hasegawa 21517
This plastic model for assembly represents the iconic Japanese motorcycle Yamaha TZR250 in the 3MA version from 1989. This model, also known as "San-ma," featured a unique design with inverted cylinders, where the carburetors were located at the front, and the exhaust pipes extended straight back under the seat.
About the original:
The Yamaha TZR250 (3MA) was the second generation of the popular TZR series, introduced to the market in 1989. It was a machine heavily inspired by racing technology from the GP250 series. Its liquid-cooled, two-stroke inline engine with a displacement of 249 cm³ generated power limited by regulations to 45 HP, but due to its characteristics and lightweight Deltabox frame, the motorcycle became a legend among fans of sport two-strokes.
