Plastic motorcycle model kit: Yamaha TZR250 (3MA) Late Version (1990) 1:12 Hasegawa 21776
A plastic model kit depicting the Japanese Yamaha TZR250 (3MA) motorcycle in the late production version from 1990. The Yamaha TZR250 is an iconic 250cc class machine that gained fame for its advanced design derived directly from the racetrack. The 3MA version, also known as the "Sanma", was distinguished by its unique "rear-exit" exhaust system, where the exhaust pipes exited under the seat, allowing for a more compact engine design and better gas flow.
The model from Hasegawa faithfully reproduces the details of this technical legend of the 90s. The kit includes new plastic parts that allow for building the 1990 version, including the characteristic upside-down front fork, which improved the bike's rigidity and handling.
Main features of the kit:- Detailed reproduction of the Deltabox frame.
- New parts for the late version: front fender, front suspension (upside-down fork), rear suspension, and front brake discs.
- Fairing elements molded in white plastic.
- Precise decals allowing for the reproduction of the factory paint scheme.
- Rubber tires with realistic tread.
- Engine: two-stroke, two-cylinder, liquid-cooled.
- Displacement: 249 cc.
- Fuel system: carburetor.
- Characteristic exhaust system routed from the rear of the cylinders under the seat.
Kit for self-assembly and painting. Does not include paints or glue. To assemble, you will need separately sold modeling tools (e.g., nippers, files, tweezers), paints, brushes, and plastic model glue (e.g., Tamiya Extra Thin Cement). The photo shows a professionally assembled and painted model.
