A plastic model kit depicting the Soviet ZiS-5V truck, which was one of the most important transport vehicles of the Red Army during World War II. The 1:35 scale model is characterized by high attention to detail and historical accuracy.
The ZiS-5V (the letter "V" stood for the simplified, wartime version) entered production in June 1942. It was an extremely durable and easy-to-operate design, which made it ideal for work in difficult front-line conditions, with low-quality fuel and extreme weather. A 73 HP engine allowed for carrying loads of up to 3.5 tons. Numerous specialized versions were built on the ZiS-5 chassis, including ambulances, field workshops, and platforms for anti-aircraft guns. Between 1942 and 1945, approximately 83,000 units of this version were produced.
