Plastic model kit of Sikorsky UH-60A Black Hawk in 1:72 scale.
The UH-60 Black Hawk is a medium multi-role American transport and infantry support helicopter built by Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation. The machine is powered by two turboshaft engines moving a single carrier rotor.
The UH-60 was the machine that was selected as the winner of a competition announced by the United States Army in the early 1970s for a successor to the Bell UH-1 Huey helicopter. Two machines were accepted for final bidding: The YUH-60A, designated by the factory name S-70, and the Boeing-Vertol YUH-61, a competing machine that lost to the Sikorsky design.
On the basis of the UH-60 a naval version of the helicopter Sikorsky SH-60 Seahawk was developed, in total over 4000 machines of the S-70 and H-60 family were produced.
Kit for self-assembly. Contains not paint or glue. For assembly you will need additional modeling tools (e.g. pliers, files, tweezers), paint and glue for plastic models (e.g. Tamiya Extra Thin Cement). The photo shows a professionally assembled and painted model.
