Within our hobby, there exists a tool that has exploded with force and radically changed the concept of finishing, it is the airbrush.

However, when investing in this tool, several questions may arise: which brand and model of airbrush to buy? What type of compressor to choose? How do they work and how to handle them? What are their most important features?
Don't worry, because all these little doubts have easy answers and solutions, and the TWM team will provide you with enough materials and information to make these doubts and concerns disappear. In fact, since the world of airbrushing needs a lot of information and doubts to be clarified, we intend to split the content dedicated to airbrushing into two issues.

In this first issue, we will cover various topics:

• The basic fundamentals of airbrushing and the various "power supplies" and accessories for such a tool.
• The differences between single-action and double-action airbrushes and the most suitable purposes for each type.
• How to thin different types of paints to maximize their properties.
• The most common mistakes and failures that can be encountered during its use, along with their appropriate solutions.
• Cleaning and maintenance techniques for both the airbrush and the compressor, as well as various accessories and supplies to ensure its longevity.
