Description
Plastic model car to assemble: Fiat Abarth 695 SS 1:24 Tamiya 24173
Created by the famous tuner Carlo Abarth, the Fiat Abarth 695 SS debuted in 1964. Based on the iconic Fiat 500, its engine was enlarged to 689 cm3, and thanks to carburetor tuning, it offered an additional 38 HP. Equipped with wide-track suspension, the agile and sporty 695 SS performed impressively both on city streets and racetracks, frequently appearing in touring car races in the 1960s, achieving numerous victories in classes below 700 cm3.
The sporty, tuned shape is recreated in good style, with accurately reproduced details such as bulging fenders and an oil cooler. The 2-cylinder Abarth engine is meticulously detailed. The interior is realistically replicated with a dashboard, a small steering wheel, and bucket seats. The set includes a metal transfer to recreate the Abarth logo on the oil pan.
- The muscular form of the 695 SS is captured in good style, from the bulging fenders to the dual Abarth exhausts.
- The detailed model of the 2-cylinder engine depicts various auxiliary devices.
- The rear engine cover is an individually molded part and can be left open to showcase the engine inside.
- The set includes stickers for 2 marking options, as well as masking stickers for the windows and metal stickers for various logos.
