Plastic model airplane to assemble: McDonnell Douglas F-4B Phantom II in 1:48 scale by Tamiya
Supersonic aircraft capable of operating in all weather conditions. Developed for the USAF, first flight on May 27, 1958. Produced from 1958 to 1981. Powered by two J79-GE17A turbojet engines, each with a thrust of 79.6kN.
Its maximum speed is 2370 km/h, cruising speed 940 km/h. With additional fuel tanks, the range is 2600 km.
Kit for self-assembly and painting. Does not include paints or glue. For assembly, separately sold modeling tools are needed (including cutters, files, tweezers), paints, brushes, and plastic model glue (e.g., Tamiya Extra Thin Cement). The photo shows a professionally assembled and painted model.
