Description
Plastic model car to assemble: Mitsubishi Eclipse (1995) 1:25 AMT 1089
The second generation Mitsubishi Eclipse - the Eclipse was redesigned in 1994 (for the 1995 model year) and featured standard dual airbags, a more rounded styling, a larger interior, and a new engine produced by Chrysler for the base model. The second generation of the car maintained the focus on the first generation's market but had numerous changes to appeal to a broader market. In 1996, a convertible model was introduced, named the Eclipse Spyder, offered in two trim levels; GS and GS-T. The Spyder GS was powered by a 2.4L naturally aspirated 4G64 4-cylinder engine. The Spyder GS-T was equipped with a turbocharged 4G63 engine from Mitsubishi. The GSX model was also powered by this engine but with the addition of a high-performance all-wheel-drive system.
Assembly and painting kit. Does not include paints or glue. To assemble, separately sold modeling tools are needed (including cutters, files, tweezers), paints, brushes, and plastic model glue (e.g. Tamiya Extra Thin Cement). The photo shows a professionally assembled and painted model.
