History and achievements of the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IV: The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IV is the fourth generation of the legendary Evolution series, designed for participation in the World Rally Championship (WRC). This model introduced many technical innovations that contributed to its success on racetracks. One of the key elements was the new twin-scroll turbocharger, which improved engine response and increased its power to 280 PS (276 HP) at 6,500 rpm and torque to 353 Nm at 3,000 rpm.

The GSR version, which this model replicates, was equipped with an advanced Active Yaw Control (AYC) system, which, through control sensors, throttle, and acceleration, computer-hydraulically controlled the distribution of torque to the rear wheels. This solution significantly improved handling and stability of the vehicle, which was crucial in rallies.
