Tamiya Pla-Paper is a unique modeling material that combines the characteristics of plastic with the flexibility and ease of processing typical of paper. The sheets are made of polystyrene with a very small thickness (0.05 mm), which allows them to be freely bent, rolled, and even tied, while maintaining water resistance and the durability of plastic.

This material has a wide range of applications in advanced scale modeling and creative work:

• Model Detailing: Thanks to its thickness, it is ideal for recreating elements made of thin sheet metal, canvas, or leather, such as vehicle fenders, seat belts, or sections of plating.
• Figures: The ability to shape it allows for the creation of realistic-looking clothing, capes, or sashes for figures in various scales.
• Dioramas: Excellent for creating architectural details, banners, flags, and elements of vegetation.

Characteristics and Processing:

• Cutting: It can be easily cut using standard modeling scissors or a scalpel.
• Gluing: The material reacts with standard plastic model cements, cyanoacrylate adhesives, and contact cements.
• Painting: The surface accepts acrylic paints, enamels, and spray lacquers. It can be written on with markers, pens, and even drawn on with a pencil.
• Format: Sheets measuring 364 x 257 mm (B4) provide a large working area.
