Historical background:

The Sd.Kfz. 7 was one of the most important half-track tractors of the Wehrmacht, originally designed to tow the famous 88 mm guns. In the face of the growing air superiority of Allied aviation, from 1943 onwards, self-propelled versions armed with the rapid-firing 3.7cm Flak 37 gun, capable of firing up to 160 rounds per minute, began to be produced. These vehicles provided mobile anti-aircraft cover for mechanized columns and key strategic objects such as airfields or bridges.
