Description
Plastic model car to assemble: Tyrrell P34 (1977 Monaco GP) 1:20 Tamiya 20053
Tyrrell P34 "six-wheeler" - is the only car with 6 wheels that participated in Formula 1 races. It took part in the Grand Prix in 1976 and 1977 - it had four smaller wheels at the front and large, standard-sized wheels at the rear. The design aimed to reduce aerodynamic drag; with a single axle at the front, grip was too low, hence the P34 design with two axles at the front. It is, alongside the BT46B, the most unusual design in the entire history of Grand Prix.
